Buzzing about Citizen Science

Discover more about the amazing work of pollinators of all shapes and sizes, and how we can help them.

Join ecologist Cathy Burton on a pollinator walk around Broughton Sanctuary. Cathy will guide us through the diverse and fascinating world of pollinators – from bumblebees to butterflies, by way of hoverflies and beetles – and demonstrate how we can all use simple citizen science techniques to help monitor them.

Two events available:

Saturday 9th August 10.00am to 12.30pm

Saturday 9th August 1.30pm to 4.00pm
