
Fungi Foray – FREE Community Event
Discover the astonishing and fascinating world of fungi
Join renowned fungi expert Andy Woodall for a very leisurely walk through our beautiful autumnal woodland. We will be looking at all manner of fungi – focussing on identification and the stories behind the fungi we find, from ecology to folklore.

About Andy
Andy has been studying and lecturing on fungi for over forty years. He has led forays for the National Trust, the Devonshire estate, Wharfedale Naturalists, Harrogate Naturalists and many other organisations. He is currently president of the Mid-Yorkshire Fungus Group and is the fungi recorder for Wharfedale Naturalists.

This event is suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
