A Walk On The Wild Side
with Prof. Alastair Driver
Join us for an inspiring and informative walk around Broughton Sanctuary in the company of our Specialist Adviser, Professor Alastair Driver.
Find out more about how our transformational rewilding and nature recovery plans are developing and see for yourself how nature is bouncing back in abundance. Alastair’s expert guidance will give you a deeper understanding of the impact of Broughton’s ongoing nature recovery project and help you to identify some of the amazing wildlife you can see here.
Depending on weather conditions, the walk may also include seeing what moths Alastair has trapped overnight, and trying your hand at pond dipping.
Three dates available:
Friday 11 April: 10am to 12.30pm
Monday 12 May: 10am to 12.30pm
Tuesday 10 June: 10am to 12.30pm
Generally suitable for all ages (but please note there will be some walking on rough and uneven ground and steep slopes). All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. No dogs please.
