Join the Avalon community for a beautiful midwinter ceremony held by our co-founder Paris Ackrill. We will gather together in darkness and candlelight to process, alchemise, crystallise and strengthen our heart-fields. We will celebrate the natural cycles of the earth, and this special time of turning within. As the earth sleeps it is time for us too to take stock.

The winter solstice is portal that invites reflection on the harvest of the year, a time from which we can look towards the coming spring and summer in order to sharpen our arrows, choose our direction and build strength in our bows. A moment to connect with our soul’s journey; to turn inwards, to give thanks, to alchemise anything which has been left undone and to remember the light that we are.

This is a non-dogmatic, open-to-all space, which will be intentionally and prayerfully created, blessed with energy healing, an earth altar, and infused with much love and devotion. We will come home to our hearts, release in the body through gentle somatic movement, create space within through breath-work and meditation, realign through receiving ethereal sounds of the alchemy crystal bowls and gong, and take a moment for reflection. If you are looking for ritual space to deepen on your path, meditate / pray and give thanks in community – this is a divine opportunity to dive in.

Light refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity for purchasing any final Christmas gifts at our Conscious Concept Store. We invite you to also bring warm outdoor clothing and sturdy walking shoes as we may be called to spend time outdoors around the fire. We hope you can join us.
