Tierney Maude
Sports and Holistic Therapist

Tierney began her journey into providing Sports Massage during her time at Skipton Girls High School, by taking on an evening course at Craven College. Following on from this she went to study at Loughborough University and achieved a BSc Hons in Sports and Exercise Science. She then went onto further studies at St Mary’s University in Twickenham to gain her Level 5 in Sports Massage.
She has since added on numerous CPD, such as a medical acupuncture, osteopathic articulation, seated chair massage, kinesio taping, run leadership and Level 4 Personal Training. Tierney is also a UK Anti Doping advisor, fully qualified in First Aid and is an active member of the Sports Therapy Organisation.
Tierney is a certified APPI Pilates Instructor. APPI pilates is a version of Pilates which brings very much a rehab focus to it’s training and exercises.
A lover of the outdoors and our wonderful Yorkshire Dales, Tierney will most often be found out on her bike or doing a lap of Embsay Crag, if not treating clients! She personally has completed in many sporting events, including several marathons and half marathons, a Half Ironman and a marathon swim.
